Stan Swindle
Stan is the CEO of Elegant Construction of Texas LLC d/b/a Elegant Homes of Texas and has resided in the Kerr, Gillespie & Kendall county area of Texas since 1972. He is a second-generation Texan and has over 35 years of experience as a builder-contractor.
He is a graduate of Garland High School, Garland, Texas, where he studied architectural & mechanical drawing, design, algebra, geometry, and math. Upon graduation from High School he served our country in the US Navy serving during the Cuban missile crisis, Cold war, and the early stages of Viet Nam.
The son of Sid and Hazle Swindle he worked with his Dad during his junior and senior high school career gaining a world of experience from a true Builder-Contractor from the
“Old School” of residential and light commercial construction.
Upon receiving an honorable discharge from his military service Stan attended college under the GI bill at Texas College of Mortuary Science, graduating with honors and as Valedictorian of his class. He then spent twelve years in the mortuary profession before returning to his first love, that of being a Builder & Contractor in 1980.
He has built over 350 homes in this four-county area of Texas that includes Kerr, Gillespie, Kendall and Bandera Counties. He has constructed VA, Government subsidize housing, and custom homes of many sizes. Stan has worked as a framing sub-contractor developing a good report with others in the construction trades. He has also developed subdivisions and has studied and received training and was issued his Texas Realtors license as a solicitor.
This man enjoys working with people and seeks the pleasure of assisting his clients in the realization of their dreams of home ownership and building their own homes whether it is of new construction from the ground up or renovating an existing structure into the home of their dreams.
